110 GHz VNA system delivers 4-port measurement

Anritsu Company’s VectorStar ME7838A broadband Vector Network Analyzer (VNA) platform features 4-port measurement. With best-in-class stability and power level control, it features broad frequency coverage of 70 kHz to 110 GHz in a compact design. The highly accurate test tool reduces measurement time and controls cost-of-test.

The ME7838A eliminates large, heavy mm-wave modules and coax combiners. It can be mounted on a smaller probe station using standard positioners and direct connections are achieved in a 2-port configuration. Short RF cables can a 4-port system to provide high performance and dynamic range. The Me7838A delivers stability and longer measurement cycles between calibrations.

The system includes the MS4640A VectorStar and 3739A test set. Real-time power leveling control provides power accuracy and stability to levels as low as -55 dBm. System dynamic range is 108 dB at 65 GHz and 107 dB at 110 GHz. Measurement speed is 55 ms for 201 points at 10 kHz IFBW. Pricing begins at $575,850 and availability is 12 weeks ARO.
