Amplifiers span 700 MHz to 2.8 GHz

Milmega, now part of Teseq, offers the AS0728 range of broadband amplifiers, which covers a frequency range of 700 MHz to 2.8 GHz at various power levels to meet test requirements within wireless frequency bands.

Based on a GaAs FET design, the solid-state amplifiers produce P1dB power levels of 25 W, 50 W, 100 W, and 170 W.

The AS0728 series includes an array of input/output and sample port options, as well as power and bandwidth upgrades. Units have a rear-mounted 15-pin D-type connector that enables remote operation using TTL commands, while providing access to an output signal sample. Color LED bar-graph displays on the front panel indicate incident and reflected power.

Amplifiers operate over a temperature range of 0°C to +40°C with a storage temperature range of –40°C to +70°C. A built-in protection system guards against overheating. Should the internal temperature exceed 70°C, amplifier blocks automatically switch off to avoid damage to the unit. The 3U rack-mount amplifiers can be combined to create systems with higher power ratings. A bench case option is also available.
