Applied Wave Research (AWR) is a supplier of electronic design automation software used to accelerate the design of wireless telecommunications equipment, semiconductors, computer systems, networking and a variety of other electronics-based products. The company's Microwave Office 2002 design suite is an integrated solution for RF, microwave and milimeterwave design. Microwave Office includes schematic entry, linear and nonlinear simulation, electromagnetic (EM) analysis and integrated layout capabilities. Voltaire XL is a subset of Microwave Office that includes the advanced harmonic-balance and Volterra series simulators for analyzing high-frequency circuits and subsystems. EMSight is a fast and accurate 3D planar electromagnetic simulator that is available as a stand-alone application or part of the Microwave Office 2002 suite.
