Eurotech have added the Intel Atom based Catalyst EC ICE to its range of industrial compact enclosures. It is suitable for applications such as remote telematics, wireless data acquisition, multimedia and process control.
It provides the benefits of Intel's latest Atom LPIA architecture in a rugged enclosure comprising of a processor module and carrier board. The CE compliant system provides a low power consumption fanless solution, which is compatible with major desktop and embedded operating systems.
The Catalyst EC ICE comes with a range of onboard peripherals, and enables expansion possibilities via a PCI Express Mini Card socket. Local storage is provided by an internal solid-state, or mechanical hard drive.
