SiliconBlue adds CS36 package variant for iCE65L01 FPGA

SiliconBlue Technologies Corp. has released a version of its iCE65L01 mobileFPGA device in the CS36 package, which is a 36-pin, 2.5 x 2.5 mm wafer-level chip scale package weighing 11.5 milligrams.
The iCE65L01 in the CS36 package has 1,280 logic cells with typical standby power consumption as low as 12 μW.
The entire iCE65L01 product line, consisting of the CB132, QN84, VQ100, and now the CS36 device, is production qualified and shipping in volume.
In June 2010 SiliconBlue introduced the iCEcube2 EDA development tool is a result of SiliconBlue's development partnership with Synopsys Inc.
This followed february's launch of the iCE65 P-Series FPGAs in the introduction of the iCE65L01 in January.
