PARIS – Tanner EDA announced it has delivered HiPer Silicon v15.02, a Linux version of its HiPer Silicon full-flow design suite, so that customers can choose –and change as desired- between the Windows and the Linux platforms.
Tanner EDA said HiPer Silicon v15.02 includes a complete redesign of the waveform editor product (W-Edit), which provides designers with a signal analysis platform rather than simple layout views.
Among new features, the company said it has added a database for storage and management of simulation data. It also cited the seamless integration with optional add-in HiPer DevGen.
Version 15 of its HiPer Silicon full-flow design suite was released in May 2010. It is claimed to include a new database for simulation data, a waveform viewer, an enhanced signal analysis platform and a tool for device and structure generation.
Among other enhancements, TannerEDA outlined a redesign of the waveform editor product, W-Edict, to offer designers a signal analysis platform rather than simple layout views. HiPer Silicon v15 also includes a database for the storage and management of simulation data. The third enhancement is HiPer DevGen, a tool that enables device and structure generation for layout productivity.
