Anasim
Anasim is a Power Integrity consulting team. Their flagship tool is the power integrity aware floor planner pi-fp that employs advanced analysis simplification and distributed IC component representation to provide true-physical analyses. Their novel PI methodology and tool provide front-end chip/board physical and electrical design optimization. Their engineering reference book on PI is the first that addresses chip PI and continuum modeling.
High levels of abstraction and physics-based simulations are key to system-level true-electromagnetic power integrity analysis. pi-fp and its very small set of simulation language constructs allow for simple, distributed representations of power delivery, load, and integrity management structures such as power transmission lines, grids, capacitance, and integrated circuits. Employing the effective current density algorithm, the pi-fp analysis environment solves for electrical charge flow and corresponding potential variations considering all elements of electrical behavior such as resistance (I*R), capacitance (C*dv/dt), and inductance (L*di/dt) simultaneously. Based on the physics of charge transfer and potential difference, the simulator analyzes and computes true-physical behavior of the modeled system.
