A family of solid-state drives designed for PC and notebook applications houses 25-nm multi-level cell (MLC) NAND memory. Intel’s SSD 330 Series features a SATA 6 Gb/s interface that provides up to 500 MB/s sequential read speeds and up to 450 MB/s sequential write speeds for speedy data transfers. Random read performance can go up to 22,500 IOPS and 33,000 write IOPS to boost overall application and system responsiveness.

The SSD comes in a standard 2.5-in./9.5-mm form factor and can be used in a dual-drive desktop PC configuration to speed up boot times and applications speeds, or as a single-drive notebook upgrade. Intel SSD 330 Series prices at $89 (60 GB), $149 (120 GB), and $234 (180 GB). Visit Intel for more information.
