Kingston releases enterprise-class SSD

A new enterprise-class SSD offers sequential read and write speeds up to 535 MB/s and 500 MB/s, respectively. Kingston Digital’s enterprise-class E100 SSD targets the performance demands of Big Data and virtualization environments with capacities of 100 GB, 200 GB, and 400 GB. With a 2.5-in form factor, the self-encrypting drives are available with SATA Rev. 3.0 (6 Gb/s), SATA Rev. 2.0 (3 Gb/s), or SATA Rev. 1.0 (1.5 Gb/s) interfaces and data integrity protection featuring DuraClass technology. DuraWrite capabilities optimize writes to extend endurance.
