Amphenol offers RoHS-compliant circular connectors
Sidney, N.Y. — Amphenol Industrial Operations offers the 97 series of RoHS-compliant circular connectors for general duty and environmental applications. They are widely used in the automotive, robotics, heavy equipment, machine tool and welding industries.

The RoHS-compliant 97 series connectors feature a variety of shell styles, contact patterns, accessory options, solder or crimp terminations, threaded couplings, hard dielectric inserts, and non-cadmium finishes. Shell components are fabricated from high-grade aluminum alloy to provide strength and environmental protection.

The 97 series connectors are UL recognized and CSA certified. The connectors provide an operating voltage of up to 3,000 Vac (RMS) at sea level. The operating temperature is -55°C (-67°F) to +125°C (+257°F).

Amphenol Industrial Operations has reduced or eliminated hazardous and ozone-depleting substances from a wide range of its connectors, which include multi-pin, power and signal connectors in the Amphe-Lite, Starline EX, PT, and 97 series.

The company will continue to offer the standard non-RoHS compliant version of these connectors for customers who are not restricted by RoHS compliance requirements. Click the link for more information about the 97 series and other Amphenol connector products.

Pricing for a mated pair starts at $10 to $15. Delivery is 12 to 14 weeks ARO factory direct.
