MLCCs meet strict thickness requirements

AVX Corp. has expanded its UT series of multilayer ceramic capacitor (MLCC) family with low profile, fine copper termination (FCT) devices that provide repeatability and flat performance in smart cards, memory modules, high-density SIM cards, mobile phones, MP3 players and embedded applications.

Available in the 0402 case size, the UT Series is available in heights as low as 0.15mm (0.006") and voltage ranges from 6V to 25V. The UT Series is available in X5R dielectric for decoupling and filtering applications where height is limited.
