Flexible termination capacitors rated for use at 150°C

Kemet has extended the case size offerings as well as capacitance values in both the C0G and ultra-stable X8R dielectric platforms.

With their flexible termination, the capacitors outperform devices with standard termination systems and are well suited for critical and safety relevant circuits without (integrated) current limitation, as well as any application that is subject to high levels of board flexure or temperature cycling. These devices are RoHS compliant and available with an optional tin-lead finish. In addition to commercial grade, automotive grade (AEC-Q200) devices are available for mission and safety critical circuits requiring stricter testing protocol and inspection criteria. The C0G-type multilayer ceramic capacitors offer an exceptional capacitance stability up to 125°C while the Ultra-Stable X8R devices are suitable for use at high temperatures up to 150°C.
