IPextreme launches new online IP store
Clive Maxfield1/21/2008 5:02 PM EST
Customers visiting the web store can view available IP cores and pricing without ever having to speak to a salesperson. When customers are ready to purchase, they follow a few simple steps during checkout to complete a standard license agreement and they will be on their way to having IP delivered to their desktop through IPextreme's XPack delivery portal. The Core Store products come fully packaged in an easy-to-use encrypted format with support available as an optional purchase item. The cores are offered at attractive prices made possible by the completeness of the packaging and the frictionless sales process.
The initial group of IP cores available for purchase include Freescale's newly announced Coldfire V1 and a rich collection of standard AMBA peripherals from National Semiconductor. Additional cores will be added to the shelves of the Core Store each quarter.
