Bluetooth modules feature high-output antenna

Halmstad, Sweden—In an effort to help designers easily implement wireless connectivity into their systems, Free2move AB has launched a series of Bluetooth modules that support Bluetooth Version 2.0 + enhanced data rate (EDR) and are certified according to CE and FCC.

The F2M03GLA is a low-power module with an output power of +7-dBm, which gives a maximum range of more than 250-m, line of sight (LoS). The F2M03GLA comes with an on-board antenna.

The F2M03GX/GXA versions have an output power of +19-dBm, which gives a maximum range of more than 500-m, LoS. They are equipped with an on-board antenna (GXA) or U.FL connector for external antenna (GX).

The modules are delivered with wireless UART serial port profile firmware that includes the Bluetooth Serial Port Profile (SPP).
