Hybrid combiner features high isolation, low loss
Parsippany, N.J. — Microlab/FXR, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Wireless Telecom Group Inc., has released its CM-83N 3-way hybrid combiner to address the requirements of tri-sector cell site expansion.

The CM-83N combines up to three different wireless signals in the frequency band of 700 to 2,700 MHz with high isolation and without mutual interference. This means the three inputs can be added together without the use of expensive filters, which make it suitable for tri-sector combining, neutral host distributed antenna systems or leaky cable applications, said Microlab/FXR.

Input isolation is specified at >23 dB across the entire band. Passive InterModulation (PIM) is specified at <-130 dBc. Guarantees are available for <-150 dBc with an additional testing charge. Each input is rated for 60-W average power, 3 kW peak.

Availability: The hybrid combiner is available for evaluation with either N or 7-16-mm connectors from Microlab/FXR and selected distributors.
