PMI delivers 2.5 GHz attenuator/analog phase shifter

A 2.5-GHz, 11-bit digitally controlled attenuator/analog phase shifter assembly provides phase-shifting capabilities from 0 to 360° with a minimum attenuation range of 60 dB. The MMI Model PSAT-2500-11B-CD-1 from Planar Monolithics Industries Inc. boasts an insertion loss of 10 dB maximum and a VSWR of 1.5:1 maximum into 50 ohms. The device operates with a phase shift speed as high as 50 ns and a maximum attenuation speed of 1 µs.

Offered in a 3.0" x 2.5" x 0.85" housing, the model delivers high levels of phase shift accuracy and attenuation accuracy over time and over an operating temperature range of 0°C to +70°C.
