PARIS — Anritsu has developed the MS2830A, a spectrum Analyzer which supports frequency ranges from 3.6 to 13.5GHz, and can be easily customized to an all-in-one advanced TRx tester.

The instrument provides superior RF specifications for an average noise level of -153dBm (1GHz, without preamplifier), a third-order inter-modulation distortion (TOI) of +15 dBm, and total level accuracy of ±0.3 dB (typical).

The measurement speeds for basic spectrum analyzer functions, such as sweeping, frequency switching, peak search, display and reading of measurements put the MS2830A at the top of its class, says the manufacturer, while the Vector Signal Analysis option supports even faster measurement of bandwidths up to 31.25MHz.

The MS2830A consumes 45 percent less power than current models, cutting electricity costs (110W for 3.6 and 6GHz standalone configurations, and about 110W with the Vector Signal Generator option installed).

The MS269xA and MS2830A measurement software are fully compatible.
