Morgan Hill, Calif. – Anritsu Company has introduced CombiTest, a PC-based software application that provides remote control of Anritsu’s MT8860x WLAN Test Set and MT8852B Bluetooth Test Set.
According to Anritsu, CombiTest simplifies test plan creation to accurately and more efficiently measure the performance of Bluetooth/WLAN combinational modules.
Developed to meet the needs of Bluetooth and 802.11 WLAN silicon developers and volume manufacturers, CombiTest controls the MT8860x and MT8852B via a familiar Windows user interface. Engineers can use CombiTest to create test plans in minutes by simply dragging-and-dropping Bluetooth and WLAN test cases from a pre-loaded list based on the most recent standards. This greatly reduces test plan development time, as the interfacing of silicon control software from the chip developers is already managed by the application.
When using CombiTest software, development engineers can create comprehensive Design Verification and Test (DVT) plans to fully characterize new designs. Results can be printed directly as well as automatically saved. In high-volume production lines, a subset of the DVT plan can be run to ensure quality of output.
The CombiTest PC application is available free of charge to users of Anritsu Bluetooth and WLAN Test Sets. Delivery is immediate.
