It has been nearly 36 years since the last human beings walked on the moon. Many of the hundreds of thousands of men and women who helped design and build the machines that took humans to the Moon are gone. We seek to remember them and their signal achievement through stories and images of the engineers at the Grumman Aircraft Engineering Corp., NASA's prime contractor for the Lunar Module, or LM.
