Microsoft interested in buying Adobe?

Reports are circulating around the net that Microsoft may be making an offer to buy Adobe. Is this good news? Bad news?

I cannot say its good or bad news. But Microsoft would like to buy all the applications that are commonly used. I guess its all about making monopoly.

Adobe could probably use the cash, bit it's difficult to see how Microsoft benefits. Maybe it's just an anti-Apple move in regards to Flash. How much this would impact consumers remains to be seen. Tough question. Anyone else with ideas?
