Apple TV set to break 1 million sales.

I was given an AppleTV this season (an upgrade from the first version) and I'm impressed with the capabilities. Airplay is a game changer. We (four adults, two young children) went on a short road trip down the California coast. We all had iPhones and when we returned we all shared our pictures on the large TV screen with just a couple of click (taps?).

My wife had ordered a film from iTunes for the flight back home and didn't watch it on the plane. Not a problem, we streamed it to the new AppleTV (set-up time of five minutes) and enjoyed the movie. The AppleTV also has the best implementation of Netflix I've seen (PS3 was pretty good).

We know have two PC, three iMacs, 2 iPads and 3 iPhones all capable of streaming content to our TV. A $99 bargain or, in this case, a great gift.
