I read an article today about an exoskeleton design called eLEGS. This is what I like to see coming from engineers. I wonder if there might be some problems with blood flow, considering the tight-looking straps that are used?

The article is at

Last December, there was an article and discussion here on "How noble is you profession?". I would certainly call this a noble application of engineering.

This article does add some cloud to the nobility question though. For example, a lot of the work toward workable exoskeletons has come from military funding. A large amount of the recent progress in modernizing prostheses has come as a result of casualties in war.

How do you answer that nobility question if a technology serves two purposes; one you believe strongly in and one that you believe strongly against?
