Hello, I wanted to let everyone know about an app I developed called Spicy Schematics .. Spicy is the first and only app to offer real Spice simulation for the iPad, and it has many advanced features, including schematic capture, netlist generation, one-click sharing of circuits and netlists and online backup ... and the new Spice Model Upload Service!
Spicy is the most powerful schematic/simulation tool out there for tablets and there is much more to come so check it out!

thanks! By the way professors can get a free copy on a limited time basis to use in tablet-enabled classrooms, and note that we will be posting some education-specific tutorials soon. :)

Hey there are a few updates on Spicy since the last post above:
(1) Spicy version 15 is available on the app store with great new features, including being able to add general IC parts
(2) You can now upload you own models using the Spice Model Upload Service (see the homepage http://http://ischematics.com/)
(3) We are now running multiple installations of spice which can handle many hundreds of simultaneous simulations, so simulations are fast!
(4) version 16 has been submitted to the app store for approval and will be out soon, ... v16 adds coupled inductors for our power design buddies
Note that Spicy can handle MOS1, MOS2, MOS3, MOS6, MOS9, BSIM1, BSIM2, BSIM3v0, BSIM3v1, BSIM3v32, BSIM4, BSIM4v2, BSIM4v3, BSIM4v4. B4SOI models for FETs
Happy sims!

Great news, Spicy is offering a simple app for the iphone. Spice simulation on the iphone will be out soon once it is approved so check for it!
This is a first for the iphone and is sure to be hit. It is meant to be simple, so no frills here just yet ... just pure spice on the iphone so you can always have a spice simulator in your pocket wherever you are!

Hello again, it has been a while, but I wanted to make a note that we have now launched a web version of Spicy !! That's right, circuit schematics and SPICE simulation within your browser! No installs needed, and your circuits are synced on any computer you use anywhere! Best of all it is FREE!!!
The next version of the iPad app will be able to sync with your online account, so look out for that!
