I have written a numerical optimizer for LTSpice. It automatically adjusts component values to optimizer circuit performance objectives you set. You can use it ordinary circuit optimizations of 1,2 or 3 component values in an already working circuit. Or you can be more ambitious and optimize 8,9 or 10 component values starting from a non-working configuration. Obviously you have to put more effort into defining objects etc in the second case.
