actually, we have been looking for a solution like this - that could produce Hydrogen from electrolsis - also looking a highlty efficient oxygen from electricity method -

Um, we seem to have overlooked a critical detail. "In addition, electrolysis creates no greenhouse gases, whereas making a pound of hydrogen from natural gas produces 4 pounds of greenhouse gases." Perhaps this should have read electrolysis creates no ADDITIONAL greenhouse gases. That electricity has to come from somewhere, and currently we get 50% of our power from coal, which certainly produces greenhouse gases. As data rates begin to move beyond 25 Gbps channels, new problems arise. Getting to 50 Gbps channels might not be possible with the traditional NRZ (2-level) signaling.
