The Nobel Laureates are acting in their own self interest by supporting the candidate who is more likely to increase the size of their grants. This, however, is not necessarily in the interest of the taxpaying public who will be forced to subsidize their intellectual pursuits. Their criticism of the bank bailouts reflects their frustration with having to compete at the public trough with the other government funded pigs.
I don't agree with the Nobel Laureates. Look at the money trail, these researchers just want more government funded grants and expect that a Democrat will supply that. We don't need to be spending $20Million in taxpayer's money to study the DNA of bears in Wyoming.
What are the engineering and design challenges in creating successful IoT devices? These devices are usually small, resource-constrained electronics designed to sense, collect, send, and/or interpret data. Some of the devices need to be smart enough to act upon data in real time, 24/7. Specifically the guests will discuss sensors, security, and lessons from IoT deployments.
