what i would like to find out is an approx. estimation of the potential power there is in daylight expressed in terms of wattage capability ?

Getting a prototype to work in the near IR is fine, but the peak of the solar spectum is what counts and that means much better manufacturing control of the lower surface. Was the simulation for the peak? Sierra Hiker/ A CA type.

I'm a coauthor on this work. While my personal area of expertise is in theory and simulations, we also built a physical cell and showed that quantum efficiencies were enhanced specifically in the red and near-infrared wavelengths, as predicted.
