The AK1025 part is more likely to be an Anyka Semi product, although the PN does not show up on their public website. Its also highly likely that this "MP4" player converts video files to a MJPEG-like format using a PC transcoder for playback on the device as there does not seem to be any DRAM in the system based on the teardown.
