In my opinion, receiver side is more sensitive, since one have very limited control on receiving signal.

It's usually the transmit side, if you can do it, that's most useful. Even cheap receiver designs can manage a 3dB NF these days, and with the best will in the world, you won't improve that by more than 2dB - and at that, depending to some extent on the band in use, you'll be limited in fact by atmospheric and solar noise coming in the antenna.
