Infineon still ranks but no longer in the global top ten, at least according to iSuppli, which puts them 12th in 2009 (see here). Like all the European big three, Infineon is smaller than it was. Not only have they had to amputate their DRAM operation but also in 2009 they sold off the wireline business to the management, who called it Lantiq.
