What are the biggest challenges for the 22- or 20-nm node for foundries?

What will the landscape look like at 10-nm? How many IDMs will be left? Foundries?

Any IDM could arrange for addtl. foundry business internally, whereas a foundry cannot move to a IDM status... When Foundry's move to design services/design IP and contact the semiconductor customer directly this should be a warning signal for the IDM's... IDM's when managing their manufacturing capacitys correctly in general should have a cost advantage over Foundry companys (they will get the better pricing)...
