Recall issues on power which forced Apple to move to Intel from PowerPC (e.g., my brother has the last iMac G5, with a chip that was too hot for the PowerBook). The fact that ARM intends to work with the Linux community to unleash the power of the A15 speaks mountains for seeing ARM in all mobile devices using sophisticated apps such as 3-D imaging and video in an "all-connected world". Many more wireless mobile opportunities for ARM.

Interesting that Marvell, ARM's lead partner in its server push, is apparently not among the first A15 users

ARM Cortex A15 Eagle seems to be a very feature rich processor. Looking at the extraordinary features it seems that it is being targeted towards the servers and networking equipments. It will surely get its place in to the embedded networking equipments. The discussion also leads towards mobile servers if WiMax chipsets can be embedded in to a mobile device.
