But David lives in the outback in Australia (behind the beyond where few men have gone behind, beyond, before [grin]) ... so the post is a little more (kangaroo mail doesn't come cheap [grin])

Hmm ... $6.50 including shipping on Amazon. Doesn't sound too excessive to me.

If the worst comes to the worst (by which I mean no luck at the library), email me at max@CliveMaxfield.com and I'll send my copies via the post for you to borrow.

I have visions of what's going to happen. I'll go in there with a list of all the books you've reviewed and they'll be tearing their hair out! But I'll give it a go and let you know how I go if I get any of them.

Hi there -- you might want to check with your library anyway -- if I request a book from my local library and they don't have it, they will borrow it from another library (it works amazingly well really).

Most half-decent books deserve to be read multiple times. You don't buy a CD and just listen to it once, do you? What I hate about your book reviews, Clive, is that I am on such a tight budget that I can't afford them. I'll try my local library but I suspect that your taste and theirs are not quite the same.... But keep them up. If nothing else I can read vicariously through your reviews.....

If you've read this book I'd love to hear what you think. Also, I'm always interested in your recommendations for other "good reads"...

As data rates begin to move beyond 25 Gbps channels, new problems arise. Getting to 50 Gbps channels might not be possible with the traditional NRZ (2-level) signaling. PAM4 lets data rates double with only a small increase in channel bandwidth by sending two bits per symbol. But, it brings new measurement and analysis problems. Signal integrity sage Ransom Stephens will explain how PAM4 differs from NRZ and what to expect in design, measurement, and signal analysis.
