Bottom line is I've moved to a mix of SSDs and standard HDDs for my storage. Using the smaller SSD for that being accessed a lot and the HDDs more for longer term bulk storage. I'm no longer willing to live with the slower performing HDDs, but certainly not yet willing pay the extra $$$ for 1TB of SSDs either :-)
What are the engineering and design challenges in creating successful IoT devices? These devices are usually small, resource-constrained electronics designed to sense, collect, send, and/or interpret data. Some of the devices need to be smart enough to act upon data in real time, 24/7. Specifically the guests will discuss sensors, security, and lessons from IoT deployments.
