The problem with Rusnano is not that it is in Russia. It's more like there is fear in doing business with the Russians because they don't play by Western corporate rules. Plastic Logic will do well in Russia as long as company management understands and respects its partner's management style. Having a foot in the door will only increase the opportunity Plastic Logic will succeed in a large market in the long run.

So this is not a case of an American Company moving operatios to England, Germany and Russia.
Why would an American company, based in Mountain View, CA(Heart of the Silicon Valley) open Research facilities in England, manufacturing plants in Germany(not known for low cost), and Russia(not known for friendly business environment)? Could it be tax breaks and governmental subsidies? The rest of the world is taking economic advantage of our political stupidity.
