they should directly open fab in china as Hynix did. but so far it's 2 slow. TW's top tier talents are in TSMC/MTK etc. what they left in DRAM bussiness is bunch of tier 3 useless ...s. (Micron might just wake up to this...)

Conversely, for Taiwan to have shunned Korea (Samsung or Hynix) in previous opportunities (e.g., Promos) also limited its ability to keep up.

For Micron and Elpida to rely on Taiwan as leading-edge manufacturing force, may not have been a good idea.
