That'd be my take. I don't know Mr. Wolin but he would seem to know his way around development [agreements] and licensing and would certainly know the team. He may also be viewed positively by his old Moto contacts but I haven't seen how that's demonstrated itself to any real benenfit for AMD in the past.

AMD is rocking the bad boat now. Hope they do not degenerate. Now, they should consider getting me on aboard.I will steer that firm to greatness! People, i just pity AMD because they make good products but people care not as their marketing is so bad.

Does the hedge fund insider trading scandal have anything to do with this ? AMD's name has been prominent throughout.
