The products which have been ENERGY STAR Qualified means products meet strict energy efficiency guidelines set by the US Environmental Protection Agency. LED Lighting products that have earned the ENERGY STAR deliver exceptional features, while using less energy. Saving energy helps you save money on utility bills and protect the environment by reducing greenhouse gas emissions in the fight against climate change.I have bought a lot of UL approved and Energy Star Qualified LED products from www.lightechstar.com in the past years. I am really enjoy it.

Goafrit why do you think so. Is it because of cost factor or something else ? If its because of cost proposition, then there is talk in the market that most of the manufacturing business is moving back to US because of increasing crude prices which is pushing the transportation cost higher.

A better question is what is the proposition that an LED maker in US can compete in the long run over price. The experience of ELSR on the wafer technology taught me that manufacturing in US is a tough business now

The solid-state illumination scene is getting hot. Plenty of contenders who are biting at the market. Plenty of room for mergers and acquisitions. This company is a leader and even a good neighbor. Lighting Science Group, being based near Cape Kennedy, recently joined forces with the United Space Alliance to fill engineering positions at its Satellite Beach, Florida headquarters with NASA employees from the Kennedy Space Center.

Like many of you, I was saddened to hear the news of Leonard Nimoy's death. His Star Trek character Mr. Spock was an inspiration to many of us who entered technical fields.
