hi sir , actually the instrumentation amplifier i m using is AD620 and the with value of gain resistor Rg= 8.2kohm , but when i saw the output of the instrumentation amplifier on the CRO, then i havent getting any kind of signal , and what should be the gain of overall ckt ?

If volume of a MPU can allow lower cost solution then a dedicated product then it may make sense. But I want two more firmware guys on the team. Meaning volume and extra development cost risk would need to be considered when deciding dedicated over MCU. Caveat have not used PSOC yet. Perhaps all the hype from Cypress is correct and it is very easy to use with very little programming. Any PSOC users out there? Chim in please we need real folks with real experience to explain why PSOC is so easy to use.

Hi Kris, The gain is adjustable and can be from 1,2,4,8,16,24,32,48,50 which are custom available for the Programmable Gain Amplifier. For the instrumentation amplifier, either the two opamp topology using 2 PGA's can be implemented (Differential Amplifier Topology with one PGA having positive gain and other Negative gain) or a three opamp topology can be used. Hi All, The article will be shortly available as PDF on our website at the following link: http://www.cypress.com/?id=2010&cache=0 This article mainly highlights the capabilities of an off the shelf programmable mixed signal controller and illustrates one such medical application using a range of available functionalities that can be easily implemented. Regards Umanath

PSoC can reduce the size and weight of the product. A good communication interface it provides with other systems.Cost saving and low power. Tha applications can be designed with a friendly user inteface.

Drones are, in essence, flying autonomous vehicles. Pros and cons surrounding drones today might well foreshadow the debate over the development of self-driving cars. In the context of a strongly regulated aviation industry, "self-flying" drones pose a fresh challenge. How safe is it to fly drones in different environments? Should drones be required for visual line of sight – as are piloted airplanes? Join EE Times' Junko Yoshida as she moderates a panel of drone experts.
