Sounds like Link_A_Media is getting desperate since they have nothing in the market relative to Marvell and LSI. The SOVA algorithm has been taught at many universities (Berkeley, UCLA, UCSD, etc.) over the last 20 years, so I'm a bit skeptical the patent is even valid.
