Magnetic cover!? What magnetic cover? I didn't read a mention of the magnetic cover. So does the iPad 2 come with a cover? does it fold? is it removable? can you put a link for this? I want to see this!

Nice to see Steve doing the announcement himself. As for iPad2, I'm delighted to see it has the front & rear-facing cameras, Verizon 3G CDMA capability, twice the processor performance, and with the same battery life and price tag as the original iPad. I may finally have to take the plunge.

All electronics hardware is not as much impressive as the magnetic cover. What a briliant idea! Interfacing it to TV with full HD will also be very useful feature.

What are the engineering and design challenges in creating successful IoT devices? These devices are usually small, resource-constrained electronics designed to sense, collect, send, and/or interpret data. Some of the devices need to be smart enough to act upon data in real time, 24/7. Are the design challenges the same as with embedded systems, but with a little developer- and IT-skills added in? What do engineers need to know? Rick Merritt talks with two experts about the tools and best options for designing IoT devices in 2016. Specifically the guests will discuss sensors, security, and lessons from IoT deployments.
