I wonder if spare capacity elsewhere can compensate for what will hopefully be a short disruption of supplies from Japan?

Mark, What do you mean by impact of the fab ? Are they fully shut down ? How bad is the damage?

FYI. We updated this article. On Semi, TI and SanDisk-Toshiba were impacted in Japan. We also updated the situation at TEL.

You missed the former spansion now to ti fab in Aizu. Also quite close.
