There's another video I once saw on YouTube that I cannot find. It starts with a busker in New Orleans playing a guitar and singing some song (I think it was "Stand by me" but I'm not sure).
Then the folks recording him took that tape around the world and filmed/recorded other folks singing and playing along.
I would really like to see this again, so if you have a link to it please share it here or email me (max@CliveMaxfield.com).
Thank you for highlighting this video, it really touch me. I did lots of motorcycle riding during college years and had a small group of friends too. Although I can't say we had great noble dreams, we did share the same thought of greatness on our futures. I can only hope that I get my chance to regroup and do another ride like the one depicted in this short film! Thanks for the refresh of great memories!
What are the engineering and design challenges in creating successful IoT devices? These devices are usually small, resource-constrained electronics designed to sense, collect, send, and/or interpret data. Some of the devices need to be smart enough to act upon data in real time, 24/7. Are the design challenges the same as with embedded systems, but with a little developer- and IT-skills added in? What do engineers need to know? Rick Merritt talks with two experts about the tools and best options for designing IoT devices in 2016. Specifically the guests will discuss sensors, security, and lessons from IoT deployments.
