During my visit to Palo Verde plant when in college in the late 80's, I remember the pride profesionalism, and serious attitude that all empoyees that showed us around displayed. But what sticks to my mind the most, was the radiation counter, and how it was tracked for each individual. My assumption is that by now, lots of employees must have already exceed safe limits. My prayers are with those brave souls that remain doing their best for the good of their community. Amen.
What are the engineering and design challenges in creating successful IoT devices? These devices are usually small, resource-constrained electronics designed to sense, collect, send, and/or interpret data. Some of the devices need to be smart enough to act upon data in real time, 24/7. Specifically the guests will discuss sensors, security, and lessons from IoT deployments.
