Hi Mark- you have a typo on Inotera earnings (you mentiona last quarter's not the most recent..)
It should be sales NT$ 9,586 million, up 10% QoQ and net loss of NT$ 4,044 million.
The previous Q comparison is off by 1 qrtr as well
I bet Elpida would love to take Nanya and Inotera off the hands of the Formosa Plastics group, and ultimately practically all DRAM leverage off the hands of the US. Would the US go for that? Can the US even do anything about it?
I just don't believe that Nanya and its spinoff, Inotera, could continue this bloodletting for another year or so. Nanya even with its very deep pocket, the Formosa Plastics Group, will have to deal with the inevitable, bankruptcy for its own good. This one is going to cost the group dearly.
What are the engineering and design challenges in creating successful IoT devices? These devices are usually small, resource-constrained electronics designed to sense, collect, send, and/or interpret data. Some of the devices need to be smart enough to act upon data in real time, 24/7. Specifically the guests will discuss sensors, security, and lessons from IoT deployments.
