It would be crazy and asinine for AMD to get it the field with ST,Freescale,TI and 200 more license holder. ARM is courting AMD because of the server market in which AMD is a distant second player. Once ARM is in the market AMD will be e distant tenth player.

AMD never denied the possibility of working with ARM- the comment was about licenses. However there was never a question proposed about them collaborating together on a Fusion type chip for Apple- which when connecting the dots makes sense. Yes AMD is focused on APU's, and yes, an ARM Fusion chip, will kill Intel.

I would license the technology to and only to AMD and kill the ARM architecture even better I would manufacture the AMD chips.
The 86 has killed other architecture that were a lot better such the Zilig Z8000 and the NS32 bits CPU why not the ARM? that, in performance, is not better then the Intel part
