Hmm... huge power density. They don't say that yet but I wonder if some production defects or just aging may cause some internal energy "leaks" which may end up with an explosion. A bit like a dynamite ... (or lithium batteries).

We don't reference the scholarly papers that give all the details, because those publishers charge you. However, the online free abstract gives the following details: from exfoliated graphite oxide the team synthesized a porous carbon with a surface area of up to 3100 square meters per gram. Two-electrode supercapacitor cells were constructed yielding high gravimetric capacitance and energy density with organic and ionic liquid electrolytes. The processes used to make this carbon are readily scalable to industrial levels." http://bit.ly/mc0eS7

It would be helpful to have some insight as to how they plan to layer the capacitors to take advantage of the morphology... Otherwise it's just not clear how much of an advantage this will give..
