@John Donovan: thank you for the summary. Both Cymbet and Infinite Power use the same materials technology for energy storage but their application in much of the brownfield market is rather limited. The greenfield opportunities that companies like these are counting on (other than data centers & building automation) are markets slow in materializing. I am skeptical as to how many of these plethora of energy storage companies will survive in the next 5 years.
If there is a follow up to your article, I would like to see the write up focused on biological, chemical and other physical (excluding motion, pressure, temperature) sensors, some description of companies in these space and the respective market.
