The category of management and hr that gives me the most amusement is the ones who think they know how to improve the productivity of people. But rather than waste verbage with the myriad ways that those people are absurd, I will simply say that these pictures are of the work places of people who truly accomplish meaningful things.

Cluttered - I don't think so. I would call it "High density engineering". With out stuff compression I would need several offices. Oh and need another set of test equipment in each$$$

As data rates begin to move beyond 25 Gbps channels, new problems arise. Getting to 50 Gbps channels might not be possible with the traditional NRZ (2-level) signaling. PAM4 lets data rates double with only a small increase in channel bandwidth by sending two bits per symbol. But, it brings new measurement and analysis problems. Signal integrity sage Ransom Stephens will explain how PAM4 differs from NRZ and what to expect in design, measurement, and signal analysis.
