Also does the AC LEDs are more costlier with respect to the normal LEDs. Is there a chance these LEDs also enter into the back lighting applications in the future.

Actually, the accusation is baseless. They just used the same market report but the guy has his own. Mr Peter, my apologies to you. You did nothing wrong.

I don't mind the republish, because I don't read the other source. But it would be nice for the author to site the source if the author indeed used it as opposed to reading the original research..

LED lighting has been the "next big thing" for quite some time now. Still, it is the backlighting applications which are driving volumes and Flouroscents remain well entrenched in lighting markets. Wonder what would take for LED illumination to really kick in with full might.
